Cheoki is a major railway junction in the Prayagraj district — a key transit hub connecting trains from Mumbai, Varanasi, Mirzapur and southern UP to the Prayagraj region.
Cheoki is a full junction station — many long-distance trains from Mumbai, Pune, Kolkata and South India stop here before or instead of Prayagraj Junction, making it a busy arrival point.
Located on the main Delhi–Howrah and Delhi–Mumbai rail corridors, Cheoki sees heavy passenger traffic from pilgrims heading to Triveni Sangam, Vindhyachal and Varanasi.

Cheoki is approximately 15 km from Prayagraj city centre and about 12 km from the Triveni Sangam. Auto-rickshaws, taxis and e-rickshaws are available outside the station.
From Cheoki, take a taxi or auto-rickshaw to Civil Lines, Sangam or any part of Prayagraj. The journey takes 25–40 minutes. Yatri can arrange a taxi directly from the platform.
Regular UPSRTC buses and shared autos connect Cheoki to Prayagraj Bus Stand and Naini. The NH19 highway passes nearby making road transport very convenient.
